About Us
We are a team of fully-qualified and experienced arboriculturalists and tree folk. With over 10 years experience across all parts of the woodland management and woodland creation sectors, including everything from grant management to large-scale tree planting projects, we’re the go-to people for your tree and woodland needs.
Our Team
Joe, Louis and Will have been working together in the tree world for many years. Motivated by a shared love of nature and a desire to improve and increase our region’s wooded habitat, we set up Bristol Woodland Services to demonstrate best practice for woodland creation and woodland management.
We are fully qualified and experienced operatives and have all the relevant licences, tickets and insurances needed to carry out the full range of tree and woodland work your site may need.

Woodland Creation and Planting
All planting types covered, from single specimen, wood pasture and orchard, through to hedgerows and large scale woodland creation projects.
Establishment and Nurture
Everything you need to help your newly planted trees and woodlands establish properly, with seasonal maintenance operations like watering, beat up, sundry replacement and grass and weed competition control.
Management & Consultancy
Helping you manage your woodland, young or old, to maximise its benefits for biodiversity, amenity and, where appropriate, timber.
Tree Surgery & Inspections
Individual or group tree management works, including climbing and arborist interventions, tree surveys and tree inspections.
